Privacy Policy
Last updated March 26, 2026
DayBox is a productivity app for tasks, daily planning, time blocks, and optional account features. This policy summarizes what information may be processed, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Details should match the live app and App Store privacy labels before you submit or ship.
Information we may collect
- Account details if you sign in, such as email or authentication tokens from Google or Apple.
- Tasks, time blocks, timers, reflections, and preferences you create inside the app.
- Optional profile fields like display name or avatar if you choose to add them.
- Subscription status from Apple to unlock DayBox Pro without storing full payment details on our servers.
- Diagnostics and analytics events if enabled, used to improve stability and understand feature usage in aggregate.
How we use information
- To sync your data across devices when cloud features are enabled.
- To provide focus timers, timelines, reminders, and reflection summaries.
- To enforce free limits and deliver Pro entitlements tied to your Apple ID.
- To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations when required.
Storage and security
DayBox may use managed cloud infrastructure (for example, Supabase on AWS) with encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level policies designed to keep user data isolated.
Local copies can be stored on your iPhone for offline access. Remove the app or use in-app deletion options where available to clear on-device data.
Sharing
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Infrastructure providers process data only to operate the service under appropriate agreements.
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service.
Your choices
- Manage notification permissions in iOS Settings.
- Cancel or change subscriptions under Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Request account or cloud deletion through in-app settings or by contacting support where offered.
Updates
We may update this policy as DayBox evolves. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest web version; align it with App Store materials before release.
