Privacy Policy

Casefile Daily ("we", "our", or "the app") is a daily logic-deduction puzzle game for iOS published by Culi Studio. This policy explains how gameplay data, optional account sync, purchases, ads, and analytics are handled.
Narration audio is pre-generated and bundled in the app. The app does not send your voice or case progress to generative AI services at runtime.
Gameplay and streak data
- Daily case progress, grid marks, solve times, and streak counters stored locally on your device.
- Optional sync of streaks and progress via Supabase when you sign in for cloud backup or leaderboards.
- Share-grid output you generate is shared only through the iOS share sheet you control.
Account and Game Center
- Sign in with Apple identifiers when you choose account features.
- Optional Game Center for leaderboard sync—handled by Apple's SDK and governed by Apple's privacy policy.
- Email or display name only when provided by Apple for account functionality.
How we use your data
- To deliver today's case, narration playback, grid logic, and streak tracking.
- To verify one-time in-app purchases (Remove Ads, Case Archive) via Apple StoreKit and RevenueCat.
- To serve ads after case completion for free players via AdMob, subject to your tracking choices.
- To improve reliability through privacy-conscious analytics and crash diagnostics.
Pre-bundled narration
Case intros were generated before release and ship as bundled audio on your device. No runtime calls to ElevenLabs or other voice APIs occur during play. Subtitle text is stored with each case file locally.
Third-party services
- Supabase — optional authentication, streak sync, and daily seed delivery.
- RevenueCat and Apple StoreKit — one-time purchase validation and restore.
- Google AdMob — interstitial and rewarded ads for free tier (after cases, not during play).
- Apple Game Center — optional leaderboard when enabled.
- Firebase or similar — aggregate analytics and crash reporting where configured.
Data we do not sell
- We do not sell personal information or use case progress for advertising profiles.
- We do not use your gameplay to train AI models.
- We do not require an account to play today's free case.
Your rights and controls
- Delete local data by uninstalling the app; cloud account data can be removed on request.
- Revoke ad tracking via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Restore one-time purchases from Settings → Restore Purchases.
- Contact support@culi.studio for access, correction, or deletion requests under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws.
Children's privacy
Casefile Daily is rated 13+ for murder-mystery theme and mild atmosphere. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us to request deletion if you believe a child provided data.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Changes will be posted on culi.app with an updated "Last updated" date.
