Privacy Policy

On-device photo processing

Phlash uses Apple frameworks such as PhotoKit, Vision text recognition, Core Image, and on-device hashing to analyze images for swipe sessions, OCR previews, duplicate clustering, and file-size sorting. That processing stays on your iPhone unless you explicitly share content through a separate iOS share sheet.

Data stored on your device

• Photo identifiers, swipe decisions, session history, streaks, and UI preferences.
• Cached OCR snippets and hash indexes to speed repeat views.
• Settings such as appearance, reminder times, and session size.
• Nothing in this list is uploaded to Culi servers for core cleanup functionality.

Purchase and entitlement data

• In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. RevenueCat helps validate receipts and entitlements.
• As disclosed in our App Privacy label, purchase history may be linked to you for app functionality and analytics, and is not used for tracking across other companies' apps and websites.
• We do not receive your full Apple ID; we see subscription state needed to unlock Phlash Pro.

Notifications

• Optional daily reminders or weekly recaps use Apple Push Notification Service with tokens managed by iOS.
• You can disable notifications in Settings or iOS Settings at any time.

Data we do not collect from your library

• We do not upload your photos or videos to Culi-hosted storage for cleanup.
• We do not sell your photo library or use it for advertising.
• We do not run third-party advertising SDKs in Phlash.

Third-party services

• Apple StoreKit & App Store Connect — purchases, trials, and Family Sharing eligibility.
• RevenueCat — subscription status and receipt validation.
• Apple Push Notification Service — optional reminders you configure.

Your rights and controls

• Revoke Photos access in iOS Settings; Phlash surfaces recovery guidance if access changes.
• Delete the app to remove on-device databases and caches subject to iOS behavior.
• Manage subscriptions and refunds through Apple\u{2019}s purchase UI.
• Contact support@culi.app for privacy questions.

Children’s privacy

Phlash is rated 4+. It is not directed at children to collect personal information beyond what Apple handles for purchases, and accounts are not required for demo usage.

Retention

Local app data remains until you delete it or remove the app. Subscription records follow Apple and RevenueCat retention policies necessary to prove purchase state.

Changes

We may update this policy and will adjust the "Last updated" date on culi.app when we do.
