How is FairShare different from a chore or to-do app?
Chore apps assign tasks; FairShare assigns ownership. Each card covers a whole domain — like weeknight dinners — including the noticing, planning, and doing. Whoever holds the card owns it end-to-end, so nobody has to nag or delegate.
Do both partners need iPhones?
Yes in v1.0 — FairShare is iPhone-only (iOS 17+) right now. Android is on the roadmap.
What if my partner won’t use it?
Start solo. Your Brain Dump and solo board are still hugely valuable on their own, and most partners join within about two weeks once they see the load laid out.
Can I use it if I’m divorced or co-parenting?
Yes — there’s a "Single parent + co-parent" mode with shared-custody cards, so responsibilities stay clear across two households.
Do I need to have read Fair Play first?
No. FairShare is built on Eve Rodsky’s Fair Play method, but the app teaches it as you go — and for deeper relationship work you can invite a certified Fair Play facilitator from inside the app.
Is the AI Brain Dump private?
Yes. Speech is transcribed on-device when possible, payloads sent to AI avoid unnecessary personal details, and your conversations are never used to train AI models.
How much does it cost?
There’s a free tier. FairShare+ is $8.99/month or $59/year with a 7-day free trial, and a single subscription covers your whole household.
Is my data secure?

How do I cancel?
iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → FairShare → Cancel. No hoops, cancel anytime.
