Privacy Policy

Private by Design

Soon works fully offline with no account and no sign-up. Every countdown, theme choice, and preference is stored locally on your device. There is no Culi Studio server, so there is nothing for us to receive, read, or store.

iCloud Sync

If you are signed into iCloud, Soon syncs your countdowns across your own devices using Apple's CloudKit private database. That data sits in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy; Culi Studio has no access to it and no ability to read it. If you turn iCloud off, Soon continues to work and everything stays on the one device.

Data Stored on Your Device

• Countdown titles, dates, emoji, and categories you enter.
• Whether a countdown counts down or up, and whether it uses the Hijri calendar.
• Theme selections and which moments have already fired.
• App preferences such as language, notification choices, and haptics.

Notifications

Moment notifications — halfway, one month, one week, single digits, tomorrow, and today — are scheduled locally on your device from the dates you enter. They are opt-in, they fire once per moment per countdown, and no push server is involved. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings.

Sharing

Share cards are rendered on your iPhone and handed straight to the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing is uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we receive no copy. Where the card goes after that is your action, governed by whichever app you send it to.

What We Never Collect

• No analytics, no usage tracking, and no crash-reporting SDKs that identify you.
• No advertising identifiers and no tracking across apps or websites.
• No location, no contacts, no photo library access.
• No accounts, no email addresses, and no third-party ads.

Permissions We Request

• Notifications — requested only if you choose to be told about moments, and used only for locally scheduled reminders.
• Nothing else. Soon requests no camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photo permissions.

Purchases

Soon Pro is a single non-consumable in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never receive or store your name, email, payment card details, or Apple Account credentials — only an anonymous entitlement indicating whether Pro is unlocked. Restore Purchase works through your Apple Account.

Third-Party Services

• Apple CloudKit — syncs your countdowns through your own private iCloud database, which we cannot access.
• Apple StoreKit — processes the one-time Soon Pro purchase and manages the entitlement.
• That is the complete list. Soon integrates no analytics, advertising, or backend services of any kind.

Children’s Privacy

Soon is rated 4+ and does not collect personal information from any users, including children. No account or personal information is required to use the app.

Hijri Dates Are Calculated

Hijri dates shown in Soon are calculated. The start of an Islamic month can depend on local moon sighting and may differ by a day between countries and authorities, so Soon lets you adjust any Hijri countdown by a day to match your local announcement. Soon is not a religious authority and its dates should not be treated as one.

Deleting Your Data

Deleting a countdown removes it from your device and from your iCloud sync. Deleting the app removes everything stored locally; you can also remove synced data through your Apple Account settings in iOS. Because there is no server copy of ours, there is nothing else for us to delete.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
